Christian Mooney, Director of Arcade joins us to discuss the current commercial context, offering thoughts on how to approach galleries as an artist or curator and how to develop professional networks and projects within this sector.

Christian will offer insights into the working life of a gallerist and share his thoughts on how best to present yourself as an artist in the commercial sector, discuss guidelines for pricing artworks and talk about how to develop useful and lasting relationships with galleries and collectors.

This is a must for anyone who wants to show with galleries and develop their commercial profile, any curator interested in improving their understanding of the commercial world, and anyone wishing to get an inside perspective on the contemporary art market now. Come prepared with questions and points for discussion.

Christian established Arcade in London in 2008. They represent artists including Can Altay, Anna Barham and Caroline Achaintre and present artists regularly at international art fairs, including ARCO, Madrid and Frieze London, as well as presenting a programme of exhibitions in the gallery with a range of artists.
